The International Crosstie and Fastening System Symposium is held on the campus of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (UIUC). This typical two day conference consists of presentations, and discussions that focuses on the state of the art in timber, concrete, steel, and composite crosstie and fastening system design, performance, research, modeling, and inspection.
